one to one coaching

I believe that one of coaching’s greatest superpowers in this overloaded world is helping us to use our precious gift of choice. Choice about how we behave, the decisions we make, the goals we have set and how we achieve them.

In our busy lives it can seem like a luxury to carve out time and space to focus on purposeful choices that can enable us to flourish and to be happy and fulfilled in our professional and personal lives.

A great coaching relationship enables this crucial space to focus, reflect and plan. It skilfully cuts through the noise to facilitate positive change that is truly in line with the client’s values and goals. Resulting changes in thoughts and actions can shape relationships, work life balance, leadership style, results and most importantly; happiness.

How i work

I partner with my clients to work on a wide variety of topics usually associated with their professional lives (see below). I provide a warm, calm, collaborative yet challenging space to help them discover the path to fulfilment in their working lives. And therefore, in their whole lives.

Relationships with my clients are based on trust and openness. Together we define clear goals, we uncover, discover, challenge and brainstorm options and possibilities. We use tools and data when appropriate to go deeper than self-reflection would enable. Values play an extremely important part in my coaching (and in my life). I firmly believe that unless we live true to our values, we are unlikely to be fulfilled and even less likely to be happy. As such, exploration of values is often one of our first steps on the coaching journey.

Our work together might be a few short sessions to tackle a specific issue or transition or a regular ongoing partnership where I will be a sounding board, business buddy and challenger.

focus on results

Whilst we should enjoy and gain insight from the coaching journey itself, if we don’t achieve clear results we have not succeeded. We set clear goals for our coaching together and we regularly check that we are getting there. If not, we explore and act.

WHY me?

A Meyler Campbell qualified coach, business leader and lover of learning, I truly believe everybody has the power within them to thrive.

No stranger to embracing change and constantly exercising choice; I have taken my life to live and work in 6 countries, have held senior roles in 3 multinationals in diverse industries, have a successful consulting practice and love to help startups and entrepreneurs. I have a wonderful family and 2 young children to keep me on my toes.

None of this however has been without challenge. Throughout the journey I have made compromises, difficult decisions and mistakes. Following some periods of soul searching I have learnt that, I am the best version of myself when I honour my values, know my non-negotiables, challenge my assumptions and focus on what I can control.

Who do i coach?

All my clients are unique and I am delighted to work with anybody who truly wants to be coached and is looking for an open, trusting, and challenging partnership to co-create positive change in their lives. We must have a ‘click’ and be honest with each other from the start and throughout.

I do not specialise in specific sectors, types or challenges but much of the work I do is focused on:

  • Navigating change

  • Working across cultures and thriving in a new environment

  • Value driven decision making

  • Promotion and performance in a new role

  • Tackling immunity to change

  • Career transition

  • Support and sounding board for new managers

  • Everyday business challenges

My coaching is not for everyone, it is for those who wish to dig deep uncover their core values, and honour those things that are non-negotiable for their happiness and success.
